Why oh why???....updated

Unfortunately he didn't make it (which I wasn't too surprised at because of his size & weakness) - he did however have the goodness ( totally sarcasm) of heart to wait until his 6 am feed to be found dead - yes I was up feeding every 2 hours all night. Thankfully Dave disposed of the body - I can handle alive creatures of every kind, but once dead I just cannot go near them. I'm glad I didn't let the kids name him.

Don't worry Kate, it was the old bathroom out the back used by farmers when they are too dirty to come into the house - definetely NOT the ones the family uses - yuck!!

Ohh, how sad. Yep, definately not a country girl either! Lucky Dave was at home and you didn't have to dispose of the dead animal.

Oh, that's so sad! I was so hoping that he would make it. Poor baby...and poor you! What a wonderful person you are to take this little creature under your wing, and do the best you could for him.
