Of in-laws & hay bales & lots of love!

Yesterday Dave's parents arrived for a week long visit! We love Dave's parents & it feels like a long time since we've seen them, so we are enjoying every minute of this time.
We went for an explore all over & it was such fun showing them this little bit of earth we call home. When we got to the hay shed the kids just had to have a climb on the hay bales (this happens every time we are near the shed!).

Zai insisted on taking Nanny & Grandpa for a drive in the billy cart! He even dropped Nanny & Ellie off at the house so they could "just relax & watch a move" then he came back for Grandpa - I think he really just wanted to drive by himself - Hmmmmmm- he certainly won't get used to that freedom!!!!
I just love the expression on Nanny's face in this picture - it does make you feel very vulnerable having a 5 year old drive you around! - even if it is slow & he is careful.

Omigosh I am SO glad you directed me to look at Nanny's face! I was so smitten with the kids' fun and the expansive skies, I'd have missed it! Hysterical...and understandable! ;)

Sounds like you are having a good week! Mum certainly doesn't look comfortable in the billy cart!!!

Sounds like fun! Not sure I would feel comfortable in a billy cart with a 5 year old driving (Although I am sure he is more careful than most 25 year olds) but nanny's HAVE to do those sorts of things:) enjoy the visit!

Nanny looks like she's having fun!! She was probably concerned about the driver looking at her rather than his road! How fast did Zai and Grandpa go??????????
Great to see they arrived safely.
Give our love to all
Lots of love

At least you can look on the bright side - by the time Zai gets his learners it should be fine for you to teach him how to drive - and hopefully not as stressful as nita

Zai looks so grown up at the wheel. We miss this fun. Grandad
