Pyromaniacs!!

Last night was our first ever bonfire!! That's right the first one we've had on our property - & what fun!! (even though we are half way through fire season - oh well, we are just late starters!)
Now that we've had one, we have about a dozen around the property ready to be lit, so we had better get going - in fact Grandpa built two more today - think he just likes fire!!!

This is a lovely photo Dave took of the fire!!

Grandpa entertained us with some music (& we wondered where the 'entertaining' gene came from - there you go Mum & Dad it must be from Dave's side!!!LOL)

Dinner was lovely (although slightly charcoaly) & we are looking forward to another fire tonight - that's right TONIGHT - pyromaniacs!!

It's been ages since I've been to a good old sit-around-the-bonfire session. I am a bit of a pyromaniac too.

Hmmmmm...... how far did you say you were from ACT????

Love a bonfire! We are living in a neighborhood, so there will be none for us!

My kids would LOVE this, but we aren't allowed to have a bonfire in the city. We can have a little campfire, but unfortunately it's just not the same.

Ah, fire!

My boy likes fire too.....

It's pretty against the night sky.

Wow, those sentences are so elementary! Unfortunately I can't think correctly after a certain time here and so, that's my excuse!

Ah, looks like such fun!! Your children will have such lovely memories, growing up in the countryside and doing such marvellous things. :) Keep enjoying the bonfires!!

What fun! The fire is completely impressive, but that grin on that musical minstrel's face is priceless!

Charcoal-y is tasty! Hope you all have lots more glowy fun.

You really do live in the country!!! What an excellent 'marshmallow cooking' bonfire. Great photos of the fire. Dad looks like he learnt some guitar playing from all those lessons I had. Hope you are having fun. Miss you all. Love S,K,S&C

That last picture was stunning! Rod is a pyromaniac, too. If it's not a ridiculously huge fire it's fireWORKS!
