Amusing photographs:

In the last week I've taken some funny photos - I thought I would include them for everyone to enjoy:
* Ellie would prefer a bowl of rice to anything else - now I know that's normal for most of the world's population, but not in my family - in fact I used to hate rice. Plain rice for El- "no chicken thanks mum!" Here she's just finished a plate that held about 2 cups of plain rice (it did take her a while to eat though!) . If you don't think that's unusual, well you must admit the pose is anyway!!LOL

* Jud loves his dummy, but he doesn't suck it in the way normal babies do - this is how he holds it in his mouth:

I'm worried his bottom lip will eventually stretch and he'll look like he's from one of those african tribes that put the plates in their bottom lips!!

* This happened yesterday: Here is "Robert" the cow after slurping down his milk! - yes he got the bucket stuck on his head!!

OK it's true I thought it so funny, I left it on as I ran up to the house to get my camera! - I promise I did remove it straight after these photos (the strange thing was he was decidedly calm about it (must have been making sure he had "truely" finished all the milk!))

And this is the way our cats like to sleep:

They do have their own baskets, but prefer sleeping together!

LOL! My kids beg for plain white rice all the time too!! I think it's gross so when I give in it's a huge treat for them :)

LOL Don't know what is funnier... the pic of the cow with the bucket on it's head or the fact that his name is Robert! LOL

Mmm, the rice is making me hungry...I love a bowl of rice with milk, cinnamon and sugar, and raisins...it's one of my favorite breakfasts. Jud is to cute with his dummy, I've never seen a baby hold it in their mouth like that! LOL about Robert getting the pail stuck on his head and the kitties are so cute curled up together sleeping!

hehehehe, we didnt go with dummies even though they are supposed to help reflux babies, Lion could spit his fair across the room and dragon would always manage to get the wrong side in his mouth, he seemed to like it that way (nothing like chewing on hard plastic). I love rice, I happen to think I make the worlds best fried rice so Ellie is a girl after my own heart. My boys would eat plain pasta any day of the week, i tell them to lick all the sauce off it then it is plain pasta, not sure that trick would work for rice:)

OK..The cow picture has got to be the funniest thing ever. Love that you had to go get the camera before you took it off for him!

I smiled at all of these, but I laughed out loud at Ellie's expression, and also your commentary! Hee hee....this is why I love your blog. It's always so entertaining!

Bee is a plain rice lover too, and I don't understand it! I need some kind of sauce or something to jazz it up a bit. She also won't eat spaghetti sauce. She wants her pasta plain. Blech!

Thanks for all the gorgeous shots (and amusing ones too!!!) I am just a teeny bit concerned though - when we visit, just say we had a slip up (fell into a dam, fell off a haystack or got stuck on the silo..)- would you rescue us, or would you have to go get the camera first?????????????????(lol)
love your flower and psalms too...Will have to check out the sons of Korah one of your bloggy friends suggests... Lots of love.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

ps btw, is Robert named after anybody???? He's not named after Dav's old boss/work colleague from his earliest work days???? (I remember when Grandad used to name their calves after some of the grandkids etc.)

Love the funny photos!

We used to have a cat named George, so I can't see anything wrong with a cow named Robert.

My eldest loves plain rice - cold! When we have rice with our dinner I always cook a bit extra which she then takes to school for lunch the next day. Did I mention she eats it cold!!!

Cute pictures. You must spend a good part of each day trying not to laugh!

How gorgeous!!! I love the one of Jud with the dummy, :) Saraya really liked the calf with the bucket on his head..... really got her laughing, and then a little worried that he was ok. I assured her he would be fine. :) She loves rice too!! Often would prefer no "topping".
