You know you have BOYS when....

* You have nothing left in the pantry but canned food or basics - even though you did a shop for the fortnight a week ago!

* You have replaced nappies & pants 20 times (well it feels like that many anyway) before 11am - because they think it's funny to remove their nappies & run around half naked!

* You still find blue spots on the floor from the paint that they found in the craft cupboard - 2 days later - after mopping twice!

* You find all your neatly folded clothes on the floor - because they 'needed' to use the change table (where you had put the clothes last night because you didn't want to risk waking them by putting the clothes away) to climb on.

* You find the remains of a pack of rice bubbles in the garden - after you opened it that morning.

* You feel that even if you take a whole pack of multivitamins - you still wouldn't have the energy to keep up with just one of them for a day!

* The jelly that you were making for dessert... is no longer!

* You know to always check the oven & grill before you turn them on....because you don't know what you'll find in them!

* You feel yourself slip-sliding down the hall & then realise that the tub of lubricanting oil is empty.

* One biscuit at a time is never enough!

* You smile & nod when a friend "finally" has a boy - but inside you're laughing - knowing that when bub hits 2 ....they'll question their sanity!!! (mwahahaha)

* No matter what ....you know you wouldn't change it for a second!

* Sometimes...Just sometimes...you innocently ask them to let you put their sisters hair ribbon in their hair for a picture...when really you're already planning it as the pin up for their 21st!!!!

* When you haven't checked on them for 5 minutes...& all is quiet...you're wondering what you're going to find next....Better Go!!

Oh my and I thought I had a BAD DAY. My sympathies. Honest. I only have one and she about kills me some days like today. How do you do it? Never mind, I know. It's by the Grace of God!

So glad you explained that it was jelly on the floor! (At first glance I thought it was blood.)

This was so funny - and some of it true for girls as well!

At the start I was thinking AAARRRGGGHHHH BOYS!!!! but as it moved along I started thinking Ahhhh, boys! I love them and all their death defying antics.
Must admit, I looked at that jelly photo before I read the text and wondered why you thought to grab the camera first when he had clearly lost a LOT of blood! Quickly corrected myself "read it properly Mummy McT, you must realise by now that she is not THAT type of mum".

Oh my gosh, this is so cute and funny! I especially loved the little baby bottom peeking out from under the shirt!

Life with Cakes is often like this too, and sometimes, all I can do is laugh...to avoid crying. Lately, she's decided that diapers just aren't for her, so she removes them in the middle of the night, and then pees everywhere! When I come in to get her in the morning. She says "Uh oh Mommy! Pee pee in bed!"

Renata, I forgot to tell you that I had to look up what "arvo" meant, after you used that word in a comment on my blog. I was stumped, but now I know that it's slang for "afternoon."

See, you're helping me become more worldy!

Sorry about the jelly photo - it really hadn't occured to me that it looks like blood until I read your comments. It was very red, not quite set jelly!

Wow, you certainly must not sit still for long. Fortunately God made them really cute...that takes the edge off when you are deciding if you should kill them or not. ;-)
