Pay it forward - giveaway!

Tuesday, October 7, 2008

Last Friday I had dropped Nita, Mum & Dad off to go back home & was a bit down. I arrived home & was getting the kids out of the car when who should pull up in front of the house but the man who owns the local post office & does the mail run. He jumped out of his car with a package - he was quite concerned because customs had opened it- it was my pay-it-forward package from Heather!! This certainly brightened my day!

Thanks Heather - you must know me well as I LOVE reading, chocolate & always have a candle burning every evening meal time!
So now I get to choose 3 people to give a present to. If you would like to be one of these people, please leave a comment (or 2 or 3 depending how many times you want to be in the draw!) . I'll leave it open til Friday 10/10 & then Zai will randomly choose names on the weekend!
Everyone likes a present - so come on leave a comment!

Me Me Me! I want to play! What a fun thing to do. Way cool pay it forward gift you got in the mail. ENJOY! How long did it take to arrive? How cool is it that your postman actually worried that something was wrong when he noticed it was open. SO COOL!

Hi renata, please add me. I loooove pressy's.
P.S To research about becoming foster parent I googled all the agencies in Australia and have been slowly going through the list. DOC'S have policies about how many children and so do caresouth and centrecare. They never mentioned this on the phone when I rang to enquire, only said so after we had filled out a heap of form's. So ask about there policies before picking an agency. We are still looking as we are determind to become foster parents and help as many kids as possible.
Anyway good luck and pick me, pick me. LOL

Wasn't it lovely that your pressy arrived on Friday afternoon - the Lord knows when we need lifting up a bit....amazing how he prompts people to do things at just the right time...remind me sometime to tell you the story (true) about the little girl in India praying for a doll....Been trying to phone you, but keep getting your answer machine...so Hi anyway....
Still computerless, so I'm using the 'amazing' one's computer while she's at uni....Love to all xxxxxxx

Hi Renata! This seems a bit rude to ask you to send me something, since I just started reading your blog - but I too am a sucker for a give-away - so pick me, pick me Zai!;-) What a very sweet and thoughtful idea! I am such a supporter of the 'small-things- mean-alot' way of thinking!

Renata, I would like to enter, but not me. I want to enter JK and Tuesday from Go Blog Yourself. I think it would brighten JK's day to get a package in the mail for her. We mainly have been sending stuff for Tuesday, and I have been trying to think of something to do for her. This would be perfect!
