Forgetful blogger alert!!!

Wednesday, December 17, 2008

OK, so I may be forgiven for having forgotten about this award when I told Mum-me that I would post about it the Monday after she bestowed it upon me & forgot. However to have been given it again by Grannysaurus & to have forgotten again when I had every intention of posting is inexcusable....it's not that I completely forgot... I remembered when I was feeding the chickens, or driving to preschool etc. etc. (You get the picture - when I couldn't use the computer) & finally last night I was having a shower when I thought of it again ( I have no idea why this came into my head in the shower, maybe it was the solitude & I could finally think for a change) & I made a note to myself to post about it today!!!!

So thank you to both Mum-me & Grannysaurus for both the award & your patience:
The rules are that the recipient is to list six things that make him/her happy before subsequently passing forward the glee to others.
So 6 things that make me happy:
1. Finding out that a blogger friend has just had her overseas adoption case passed in court for her next daughter & is going to pick her up in January!!!!

2. Spending a lovely morning at the pool with the kinder to year 2 students & lots of parents (& preschool children) for the schools rewards day - & seeing Ellie joining in the games with the schoolies well!

3. Having our lamb drop down to 3 feeds a day - he's still unnamed - any ideas???

4. Looking down the paddock & seeing dams that are full!

5. Having friends stay - we had the privilege to host Christy & family for the night last Friday - it was so lovely to renew friendships. Our Ellie had a complete ball with their daughters!!

6. Knowing the school holidays start in 2 days!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!

I now get to bestow this award on 6 (I think) people - I won't give it to you if I know for sure you have received it (or if I definitely know you don't do awards), however if it is a double up, never mind - just know you have a great blog!!!
Kimmie - I'm just so excited about your adoption!!!!!!
Christy - It was lovely having you guys stay!!!
Tan - because I really, really miss you!!
Saminda - because I know you enjoy Christmas & school holidays as much as I do!!
Laura - because you've just had a massive move & now have sick kids - hope it brings you a smile!
Martine - you have the most creative Christmas decorations I've ever seen!!!

Hi Narn,
I really like your lamb photo's, he is so cute, have the boys continued looking after and feeding him?
Some ideas for lamb names, 'Horatio the lambio', 'little lambie' etc, not full of great ideas as I just had another filling done and don't feel fantastic.
luv you all

Thank you for the award, it definitely made me smile! :)

How 'bout naming him Gyro? Hmm, if you think that's too weird...how 'bout Lambo?

Well, maybe I'm no help at all.

Hi Renata;

Thanks for the award...but really really, thank you for being excited with us! I am so excited that I can't sleep! The good kind of can't sleep, not the worry kind of can't sleep.

;-)

You are a lovey...thanks for being my friend.

Not sure about lamb names...do you want funny, cute, dashing? I am mighty fond of Little Beauty...though soon she will get a real name too!
