Wishing all a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!

What a happy, fun, crazy time of year we're having here. It's been such a busy time & this week it's not going to slow down either. Last Thursday was the preschool Christmas party & the "graduating" children were given their preschool diplomas! One thing I learnt is that Ellie loves (I mean LOVES) to be up front. As the children were all singing (& this was done at maximum volume) Ellie was not only singing, but also swaying to the music, trying to dance on the spot & holding her diploma as a microphone! She is quite the little showgirl!!!!

We got the biggest surprise on Dave's birthday (he's 30th - for 9 months he'll be hearing about it as well - til my 30th birthday!!!LOL) Dave's parents made a surprise visit down. They had organised it with Dave's work & surprised him there. When he called me just said he had a surprise coming home. Well I was preparing to go out to a Christmas party (that we also crashed with a birthday cake as most of our closest friends from down here were there) & so had gotten the children all ready & just had a shower myself. I had my underwear on & remembered I had to get something from the family room (past the front door - which is all glass by the way) I was just running past when Dave opened the door to come in - yes - I flashed my in-laws (thankfully I had underwear on!!!LOL) Non-the-less we still had a lovely time with them!

Saturday marked the start of our summer holidays - it also marked the 3rd night in a row that the kids were up very late. (Sunday night was late as well) I'm now wondering if they will ever go to sleep again before 10pm (it's now light til after 9pm out here!!!) At least tonight they can go down at their normal 7:30pm (except Zai who has swim club!!) Tomorrow night is the community Christmas carnival, so guess that will be late as well!!!

As you can imagine, I'm very busy at the moment, so have decided to take a break from blogging. Dave has a couple of weeks off after Christmas & we want to enjoy spending lots of quality time as a family!!

I hope you all have a lovely Christmas celebrating our Saviour's birth!!
And a Very Happy New Year!!!
Thanks for all the lovely comments over the last year!!!
I'll be back mid January 2009....

Nothing like exposing yourself to the inlaws to say "Welcome to our house, settle in and get comfortable" :)

We'll miss you but I guess we can survive. It's not like I have any time to even read blogs lately, ahhh, I love Christmas busy, it's much nicer than regular busy.

Merry Christmas Renata, My day will seem much less stresful now because I can't wipe the smile off my face thinking of you streaking in your undies past your inlaws. It was just what I needed today. Thanks for the laugh.
