So proud...

of my man....

Not only is Dave one of the hardest workers that I know...he loves the Lord with all his heart, he excels at his job, he farms, he does his university studies & still finds time to be the best Dad & husband ever.
Yesterday he came home from work with this...
A Chief of Air Force Commendation.
I'm told that these aren't given out very often (especially to civilians) & he along with 4 of his colleagues received this.
(Names blanked out for privacy)
In typical Dave fashion he just put it away & it wasn't until we were doing the dinner clean up that I found it.

Congratulations Dave!!

I know our family & friends will be as proud as I am!

Hi there Renata! that is a wonderful recognition Dave received - congratulations! I have been watching the West Ladies DVDs too (Sel lent them to me) and guess what I happened upon at a garage sale on Saturday morning - a canner!! I snapped it up and hopefully it will get some use somewhere along the line :) I hope you have a wonderful day,
Love Martine

Impressive.

Humility is very rare and so, I'm glad you were "tooting" your husband's horn!!

Congratulations.....

Congratulations to your husband and I must say - I love the photo of your children on your banner - what a beautiful portrayal of family life!

That's great Renata - though I don't fully understand what it is. It makes you happy and proud so it MUST be a good thing...

... and there is something absolutely about a woman who honours her husband. It's lovely to see a man praised and spoken of so highly instead of bagged and beaten into the ground! There should be more women like you!!

A special belated congratulations to Dave - I was sure I'd posted a comment, but it must have gone astray in cyber-world (or I got distracted and forgot to hit the publish button). Anyway, we've all very proud of you Dave - it's good to get some recognition for work - even if it is doing something you love!!!!
I hope you're studies are going well - all the best with exams (if you have some coming up)!
Love to all

ps Narn - my fears came true - apparently when Dad & I were at Bunnings yesterday, Nity donned the formal dress & shoes, and sat their playing the piano!!!!!!!!!!! She has a couple of performances this week -one at a cafe afternoon, and playing in Attila's concert!
Have a great week - talk soon
