My handsome boy...

Wednesday, October 27, 2010

I took my big boy outside for a photo shoot.  He is growing up to be such a delightful & helpful boy.  He is very responsible & very trustworthy.  He has such a heart for the Lord.
I am so thankful for the gift of Zai!

This photo reminds me of something that happened recently:
Zai had a friend over and the boys had asked me if they could go for a walk in the paddock.  With permission they headed off.  Bessy (who generally stays as near to the house as she can) noticed these two entering her abode.  Now Bessy was a poddy calf, so she is very, very affectionate.  The boys were half way through the paddock when she decided to race after them for a pat.  Now a half grown calf running at you is a little scary - especially since she doesn't always completely stop before she gets to you -  the boys heard the hoof beats & decided to run away from her - Bessy thought she'd enjoy this game & ran a little faster - before you knew it we had two eight year olds sprinting across the paddock followed closely by a cow who was enjoying this for all it's worth. They scrambled up the gate as fast as humanly possible & there I saw them - two boys sitting atop the gate as a puzzled calf walked around underneath them waiting for them to play the game again!

I feel so blessed to have this precious boy as my son!

Use today to count your blessings!

Aren't boys so precious......oh, girls too, but we have been blessed with 2 boys - one is 7, the other is 17, and they are simply adorable.
These photos are lovely. And - I have to say it again - he is mighty handsome.
Love, Anne x
