Finding balance

Do you ever struggle with balance?
Gympie, Queensland

I find time & time again I have to reassess my priorities & refind my balance.

This is especially true as summer begins & the school year heads to an end!

Stanthorpe, Queensland

My roles as wife, mother & teacher are consuming me at the moment - little time is left over for hobbies like blogging.

But that's OK because I know it's only a season  - & I know it's a short one - soon it will be summer holidays & In 4 weeks time I will have more free time.

In the meantime  please forgive me if I don't visit your blog as often as I would like to.

After all I would rather my kids remember me as a really great mother rather than a really great blogger! (Thanks Robin for this challenge)!

How do you find balance? When do you blog?

Have a wonderful day

I usually blog after the younger children are in bed, and I try to do a few posts at a time and schedule them for later in the week.

Then there are times I just have to get something down before I forget, so I type it down as quickly as possible and save as a draft ..... sometimes I have lots of drafts.

Love your photos, as always.

Very good reminder, Renata, and beautiful pictures, as always! Someday, I'm gonna come visit you. It's on my list of things to do when the children get older :)

Balance - something i struggle with ALL the time! overcommit/undercommit, housework, individual time with kids/husband, exercise, the list never ends! I only blog occasionally now - wish i had the time for more but i'm sure i will when the kids are a little older. I'm still taking photos though.... Hope you're all well. We are finally :) love and hugs,xo

Balance is all about losing control, otherwise what would be the point of achieving it, LOL?

I'm just dying to ask this next question though. On your first picture of Stanthorpe, I had a de ja vue moment, as it was my old stomping ground as a teen. Now I could be wrong, but is the last picture you've labelled Coonabarabran, NSW, by mistake a picture in Stanthorpe too?

I swear it's the spitt'in image of the Stanthorpe Bridge I used to walk under - even the old shop in the background. De ja vue moment, but I could be wrong about the last picture, it just looks erriely similar.

Stanthorpe is a beautiful town, but too cold for me now, LOL.

Hi Narn, - Balance......do we ever get it right??????? I smiled when I read a comment about having time to blog when the kids are a little older.....balance is still a problem - I suspect it may continue for as long as we walk this earth....having time with the Lord, family, work, home, etc etc etc...
Loved the photos - reminded me of our very happy little trip - it was soooo pretty (and soooo nice being with you all!!!!)
Hope the locusts aren't causing you too many problems. Am praying that they'll be defeated before causing too much damage.
Give our love to all the darlings and lots of love to you, Mum xxxxxxxx

Oh yes, balance is a huge thing here, and i feel like i have to try and remind joe to 'balance' (work/home) as well....
I usually blog when the kids are eating breakfast/lunch as our computers are in the kitchen.
Love your photos! Looks like you had a great time
