Happy Christmas to you all!

Friday, December 24, 2010

Just wanted to slip on here to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas from all the Sunnyside family!

As we celebrate our Saviour's birth let us not loose site of the real reason He came to earth as a babe - to die, to take the punishment we, the sinners, deserve.  Praise God that's not the end of the story - He didn't remain dead, but rose again!!!

This Christmas don't only look backwards at His life, but look forward too because one day He will return - we know not the day, hour or second - the only thing we can be certain of is that it will happen.

Are you ready?
If Jesus were to return today is your heart right with Him?
Are you living each day with Him?

If you leave it until His return to believe (& the Bible makes it clear that everyone will), then it's too late...

Take a few seconds this Christmas to ponder those questions in your heart ...
(If you have any questions please email me or talk to a trusted Christian friend )

We hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
Thank you for taking the time to "visit" us here at Sunnyside Fun .
God bless you

Dave, Renata, Zai, Ellie, Eli, Jud, Bessy the cow, Softie the cat, Handsome the rooster, Polly & the rest of the hens,  the 7 newborn chicks, Young Ewes 1-100, the Sunnyside 'Pet' Flock & all the other critters that call this place home

Before I was saved, the words 'Too late' were a constant horror to me. I dreaded Christ's coming, or my death, and the truth would be.... Too late. Oh, thank God He took me from that miry clay and set my feet on that Rock.
Yes, one day He will come again. We will all meet him face to face. Pity those who will meet Him in fear, not being clothed with Christ's righteousness. And for us who are saved - praise God that our salvation is all of Him, and not of ourselves....
Sorry, got carried away!
Love to you all..... and to your lovely farmyard of animals. Well, to all but the _ _ _ .... the 'you-know-what' ! x
