Some children take a teddy to sleep with them... not this farm boy (Eli)...
He takes a cat (Yes I'm thankful it's not one of the lambs LOL)! Poor little tyke has a heavy cold - I did wash his face before bedtime, but obviously his nose has been running & he's rubbed it - luckily it's Dave's pillow (just joking - I'll wash it!)

Well 'Job' certainly looks comfy too. Poor little Eli - Aunty C is sick and miserable today too...maybe she'd feel a bit better if she had a cuddly kitten too - Give him a big hug, and praying he'll be better real soon. Love to allxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I hope your little one feels better soon. Stuffy noses aren't any fun. Cat doesn't seem to mind at all. I hope he doesn't have allergies to it. That would be sooooo sad. Big hugs!
Well that cat is obviously used to children. My cat was my 'baby' for years before I had children. She barely tolerated the little ones! But she used to love to snuggle up next to me at naptime just like that photo of the cat and Eli.
I totally agree - your cat is remarkably docile/tolerant/compliant! My cat used to gnaw your leg off if you moved during sleep and disturbed her, as it was 'her doona' and hence any human was to be fought off not welcomed! Great photos!
Welcome friends to my farmhouse journal! My name is Renata & I am the wife, Mama, homemaker, teacher & chief cow milker here at Sunnyside Farm! I enjoy keeping a record of our farmsteading life & pray that it encourages you as you read my words!

What a cutie!!! He looks like he's having a good sleep anyway. Give them all big hugs for me.
Luv Aunty Sel
it's okay, it's a pale colour pillow, Dave wont notice the snot smears :)

Kee hee, I am secretly relieved when the yucky stuff happens on Dwayne's side of the bed!
Those pictures are priceless!! What a great family cat :)
They look like such sweet nappy buddies...adorable! (Were they both purring?)
what a compliant cat!! I don't think our cat would off our kids such liberties! :P
