Oh I just couldn't resist sharing this one with you...
This is our Sunday afternoon treat ~ well I will admit it gets made on other days, but we do enjoy this indulgance only occasionally (& of course it's adults only since it contains caffeine). I first started with a recipe I got HERE, but I've played with it & changed it (of course). I hope you enjoy:
MY FAVOURITE MOCHA FRAPPE RECIPE!
1. Begin by brewing about a half a cup of coffee ~ make it strong!
Allow it to cool a bit (if you have the patience)!
2. Place coffee, 1 tbs raw sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 2 small trays of ice cubes & 4 tbs of my homemade chocolate syrup ( or you can use store brought) into a blender.
3. Process for a few minutes until the iced is crushed.
4. Grab a good book, a comfy chair & send the kids outside.... pour into a fun glass & ENJOY!!!
(Don't forget to pour one for your hubby ~ it makes enough for two)
It really is that simple to have a yummy treat that will cool you right down on those hot summer days coming up!
