I'm going to take this quick chance to slip on here & wish you all a very blessed Christmas for 2011.
~This year I'm taking the time to celebrate our Savior's birth with our precious families & to ponder about why we take part in different traditions ~ how is Jesus' gift represented in each one & if not, why are we doing it?
~ I'm taking the time to reflect on why He came as that most precious babe & how very closely Christmas is linked to Easter (these must never be thought of as separate events).
~Most of all I'm taking some time to be thankful for the ultimate blessing that Christmas brought ~ the chance for my salvation. What is life if we live it without the assurance of eternal life?
I'm going to take the next couple of weeks as a 'blogation' & return happy & rested mid January 2012 ( can you believe how quickly this year has flown ~ almost 2012 already)!
And from all the family & menagerie here at Sunnyside Farm we want to wish you a very safe & Happy Christmas & a blessed year in 2012!
