Today was the cross country at Zai's school. The 2 youngest grades had a modified cross country held in the play ground & they seemed to really enjoy it (don't know if the poor teacher did). I didn't realise that cross countries are different here - they aren't run as a competition between school sport houses - oh & parents don't usually come & watch, so this over enthusiastic mother dragged all of her kids along to watch ( & dressed everyone in Zai's house colours) & was the only parent there - never mind Zai appreciated it!!
He actually came 4th - this is the finish!! ( OK there are only 12 students in his grade).
